If you are here , somehow, it means you love fashion and beauty and anything related to that, we all do , i do too, but personally when i discover a new blogger or youtuber , i don’t only look for the skills they have as a style adviser or a make up teacher , but what they have to offer as a person ,how they react to real things and how they interact with the platform of people they’ve build, their beliefs and motivations , there perspective in life , and of course the message they pass.
It is crazy how massive the impact social media has on us, it affects our personal and social life in a crazy way , every day we set new standards to ourselves, new rules , our tastes change our behaviors change , that is why knowing exactly the people you are following is a fundamental thing to do .
In 2016 i discovered a lot of new bloggers that are now on my favorites list , i also got to know some of them a little bit more and appreciate them as the people they truly are not only as style influencers.
(SPOILER ALERT: kylie jenner is not on my list and i’ll tell you why later )
I’ll start with
Look at that face tho,
So i only discovered her early this year and a few months later she started uploading vlogs ,witch i never thought i would enjoy but i did , the thing about Negin i think is her simplicity her spontaneity and her contagious happy mood .She first received major attention through her Instagram account, which boasts more than 3.6 million followers and owns now a hair product brand called Gisou made out of pure love .what can i say the girl is cultivated , healthy and happy , a great inspiration for young woman that share the same values .
I discovered Ascia a long time a go and i was impressed by the courage and the personality she had , it is not the easiest thing to be a Kuwaiti blogger , and less easier to have your husband as a partner in your blog . Being a “hybrid” as she calls herself was the major key to her success, the mix of culture she lived in made her unique , she gave birth to her second baby lately and i was very impressed how well informed she was about everything concerning natural birth , medication and all of that , if you think it is hard to handle a husband and 2 baby boys think twice because on top of that she owns a brand named desert baby where you can find traditional slings to carry your baby around . GIRL POWER again .
DALAL AL DOUB
Staying in the same category , Dalal is also a kuwaiti born blogger , a strong single woman, her style is incomparable she has proven that wearing a hijab can only make you prettier, and by having her on snapchat you will discover how cultivated she is ,and how much she is open minded and tolerent , she also reads A LOT , the girl can talk about pretty much anything and that is a great thing to have when being a role model to a large community of woman .
These two have totally broke the boundaries .
Or family goals ?
Mom of 3 adorable kids ,and empowering woman she also studied psychology in London so when she talks about something she always uses the right words , you can not get enough of her looong talking sessions in snapchat , it gets deep and you can see how incredible yet simple her personality is , a real role model for young working mothers.
These woman are not perfect , they might look perfect but they are not and that is totally okay ,they represent a great imagine of working and caring business woman /moms, the thing is you don’t need to be perfect to be a role model for a big community , you only need to be yourself and to be careful about what you spread and what you feed your followers, that are most of the time young girls trying to get inspired and are opened to learning whatever is offered .
Being a woman is not about having fuller lips or a thinner waist , it is not about the product you use or the clothes you wear , appearance is important i wouldn’t agree more but it is not the most important thing , as a woman you need to know that your existence is not measured by the size of you bra or your lips or your waist but by your mental capacity and personal ability , there is no point in being pretty and dumb while you are not even responsible for your physical appearance (since your parents made you) Being pretty is not enough , be clever , and please , stop the duck face selfies.
See you next week.
